Residents try out the X-box game stations

Denton, Texas - Residents of the Nelson Children's Center are especially excited about the latest addition to the Denton program - a first-rate game room.

The room itselt was a gift from Norma Schaefer in memory of her husband Otto. The games and equipment were furnished through a gift made by the Rayfield Wright Foundation and McKesson Corp.

The game room includes air hockey, foosball, basketball "shoot out" and two
X-Box 360 game stations.

Residents of the center must earn the privilege to use the game room. They do that by earning "good behavior" points each day. Each resident may use the game room twice a week.

"It's a great motivator," said Chery Rayl, Chief Executive Officer of the Nelson Center. "With partners like Norma Shaefer, Rayfield Wright and the McKesson Corporation, we can do so much more for these deserving kids."
